50 Years of European Union in Sri Lanka

In celebration of a half-century of cooperation between the European Union and Sri Lanka, I served as the Multimedia Producer for a landmark photo exhibition held in Colombo.

This project was more than a gallery display; it was a visual narrative documenting five decades of diplomatic, cultural, and developmental milestones. From economic resilience and trade to human rights and climate action, the exhibition showcased the deep-rooted connection between these two partners through a curated collection of powerful imagery.

The Role: Multimedia Production & Visual Storytelling Working closely with the EU Delegation to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, my focus was on bringing 50 years of history to life. My role involved:

  • Production Management: Coordinating the visual assets and multimedia components to ensure a cohesive narrative across the exhibition space.

  • Visual Strategy: Selecting and presenting imagery that highlighted key pillars of the partnership, including GSP+ impact, social protection, and shared democratic values.

  • Engagement: Creating a visual experience that resonated with high-level dignitaries, including international ambassadors and political leaders, while remaining accessible to the general public.
